Muddy Waters - Folk Singer (1964)
Folk Singer was Muddy Waters 4th album on Chess Records and was aimed at the growing Folk Scene and is Muddy’s only all acoustic album. The album features Muddy and a young Buddy Guy on guitar with Willie Dixon playing bass. The album was also produced by Willie Dixon and the atmospheric production and raw performances capture the blues at it’s acoustic best.
